Ondrea has considerable experience in the tribal environmental arena in several capacities that includes air quality program manager, environmental program coordinator and policy analyst, and seven years of service as the Director of the Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Division, Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. Ondrea has also represented tribal interests at regional and national levels. Her knowledge of tribal air quality issues, experience in working with tribes and the U.S. EPA, and her program management skills have brought her to a leadership role, to promote tribal air program priorities, under the direction of the NTAA Executive Committee, and working effectively with the U.S. EPA and other partners, such as the Institute for Tribal Environmental Professionals.
