Air Programs Assistant
The National Tribal Environmental Council (NTEC) is seeking a qualified person for the following work.
National Tribal Air Association Program Assistant: This position requires that the successful applicant be available to live in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and work in our main office. Successful candidate will report directly to the Program Director of the National Tribal Air Association (NTAA). The assigned work load will be based on a twenty-four (24) hour work week. The primary function of the successful applicant is to provide staff support to the NTAA Program. This includes: assisting the NTAA Program Director with administrative duties; assisting the NTEC Business Manager with travel reimbursements; taking and maintaining minutes of meetings, conferences, and training sessions. The position will require a basic understanding of financial accounting procedures. This position will require that the individual have excellent communication and customer relations skills. This person will report directly to the Program Director of the NTAA.
The position requires a self starter, self motivated individual familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point technology. Experience in tribal programs and/or environmental programs are desired. Travel away from the normal duty station is required to perform duties as administrative assistance.
Salary range: $15,000 to $17,000 annually. The position is non-exempt.
A bachelor’s degree preferred.
