Ryan Tsingine

NTAA Research Assistant

Ryan Tsingine is currently a graduate candidate in the Climate Science and Solutions Program at Northern Arizona University. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with an emphasis in Administration and Policy and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from NAU. During his undergraduate career, Ryan helped facilitate a strategic agreement between the National Park Service, Bureau of Indian Affairs, and the Navajo Nation for the shared stewardship of the Canyon De Chelly National Monument.

Ryan is currently an Intern with the National Tribal Air Association and will continue to work for NTAA as a part-time employee upon graduating from NAU. Ryan sees himself continuing working with tribal nations to promote tribal sovereignty and environmental justice. Ryan currently resides in Dook’o’oosłííd, traditional Diné territories a.k.a. Flagstaff, AZ, and enjoys the outdoor activities of the surrounding area.
