Kurt Lyons
Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska, Region 7
Born in Sioux City, Iowa. Grew up in Southern California. Living today in Sioux City. After HS, Kurt joined the Army National Guard and went to college. After graduating he continued on with my post graduate studies in world history. After that, Kurt put his history degree to work by entering the Pharmaceutical industry for 8 years – smiles, let that sink in for a moment. Then moved the family to California for years working in the Biotech industry mapping the human genome. After that Kurt moved back to Sioux City, IA doing QA/QC work, then later production management in the food industry. After 13+ years doing production management I happened upon the opportunity to pursue his interests in science and research by joining the air quality program for the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska.
Other interests: Military history, astronomy, aviation, chess, and painting.
