Maxine Paul manages the Environmental Division at the Pueblo of Santa Ana’s Department of Natural Resources. Since 2016 she has worked for the Pueblo to remediate environmental pollution in air, brownfields, solid waste, formerly used defense sites, and to promote climate resilience. Among previous positions, she has served on the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Air Quality Control Board since 2020 and as a permit writer for the State of New Mexico’s Air Quality Bureau. Her education includes a Master’s in Water Resources from the University of New Mexico and a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science from Columbia University. Maxine lives with her husband, their son, and their two dogs in Albuquerque.
